When you work with Brand Artisans, we become your biggest cheerleaders. We take great pride in our role as your Brand Guardians, caring for your Brand Image as much as you do. After all, it's our business to make your business look good.
We take a holistic approach to branding, so rather than just churning out generic logo designs in line with passing fads and trends, we find your Unique Selling Point; connect with the heart of your business; and create an overall Brand Identity that resonates with you and your clientele.
We're here to guide you through the entire process of building (or re-building) your Brand Identity from the ground up, helping create opportunities to leverage your existing reputation in the industry, and ensure that your business evolves to the next level.
In other words, we’re here to help you grow.
WHAT IS BRANDING?
Unique Brand Identity is the backbone of any successful business, which is why influential corporations like Nike, Apple, Coke, Gucci and BMW spend millions of dollars developing and protecting their brands. These companies know the true value of strong Branding and invest in themselves accordingly.
Branding is more than how your company looks; it's bigger than merely a logo or a colour theme and it has far greater impact than most people ever realise.
Your Brand Identity is a culmination of your ethics, your beliefs, your goals, your energy and all those other 'feels' that make your business unique.
In a nutshell, your Branding is how you make your customers FEEL.
The 'Look' of your brand is merely a by-product of your Brand Identity, and ideally your logo and brand theme should reflect that.
To paraphrase the words of marketing guru Marty Neumeier, 'your brand isn’t what YOU say it is. It’s what the PUBLIC says it is', so you need to ensure that everything you do as a 'brand' is consistent.
Does your Brand Identity reflect your core business values? Do you feel like you're capturing your ideal target market? Are you harnessing your energy to work for you and infusing your business intentions into everything you do?
If the answer is no, then you may benefit from a Brand Audit.
After all, when you're providing an exceptional service or product, you need exceptional branding... and a team you can entrust it with.

What is that??
Once you have your business set up, Brand Strategy is generally the first phase in developing your new Brand Identity.
You may hear us refer to this as the 'research' or 'discovery' stage of the process as it involves primarily market research and data analysis.
We explore your competitors, the industry environment, current demand and your position within the industry, including your Unique Selling Points (known as USP's).
Off the back of our findings, we can carve out your ideal customer, known as your Client Avatar, to whom we direct our marketing plan.
This information is the basis for how we create your Brand Story, the tone-of-voice, and the messaging that accompanies everything we create.
WHY IS THIS PHASE IMPORTANT?
Sure we can crack on and jump straight into designing you a beautiful logo, but the discovery phase enables us to build a solid and cohesive brand message and Brand Identity that flows across all channels and effectively targets your ideal customer.
Great design speaks for itself. But what exactly is Brand Design?
Logos are a fairly self-explanatory concept, but what's the difference between your logo and your branding?
It might seem like your logo is the most crucial factor in your branding, but actually the logo is just the visual shortcut to the rest of your brand. It's important to have a memorable logo, but it's only part of the equation.
The branding is the foundation of the business. It's the energy of your brand, the emotions it evokes in your customers and the shared experience that it offers them; the zeitgeist of your brand, if you will.
So how do you build a strong brand? Through consistency. Obviously it helps to have visually appealing branding, but the real key is in cohesion. It's defining your creative guidelines and being consistent with your use of colours, fonts, messaging, tone-of-voice and imagery. It's a creative support system.
This is why we include a Brand Guidelines Document with our branding packages. It may not sound very fancy, but this little booklet details everything about your branding and will become your brand bible.
